2.1. What is a plum?
Plum, also known as North plum or Hanoi plum with the scientific name Prunus salicina, belongs to the plum genus.
Plums are grown a lot in Vietnam in the northern mountainous provinces such as Lang Son, Lao Cai, Son La,... or in the South (Ham farm). You can come to these areas to visit and enjoy the ripe plums.
However, it is necessary to clearly distinguish northern plums and southern plums. Plums in the North are Hanoi plums and plums in the South are whips. Due to different calling, patients need to pay attention to use.
